Chicken Pox related
Hi Sir/Maam, My roommate got chicken pox and he shifted to his hometown the next day. I got my self vaccinated with Varicella vaccine, post three days of which, for two days I had serious stomach ache, constipation type, mild fever and now I observe a blister on my waist and a few on my face. Does it mean I have chicken pox after getting vaccinated ?

It is likely that you have chicken pox you can get it confirmed by a dermatologist, but you're in your infective stage as the pustules have already appeared. It is likely that the exposure to your roommate already made you acquire virus in which condition the vaccination wouldn't be of much use.
