My mother is having a slight chest pain in the left side.she keeps experiencing this on and off. She has diabetes and hight BP. she has been on medication for 10 years now.

Please see a doctor. She needs to be examined before a provisional diagnosis is made. Left sided chest pain could be due to many reasons, acidity and gastritis being the most common. However in view of her diabetes and high BP, cardiac chest pain needs to be ruled out.
