Chest pain
I have pain in the left side of the chest near breastbone which spreads to back of the shoulder and triceps. It aggravates with movement and heavy breathing.

Hello, BP to monitor. Is this associated with sweat? First cause may be gas formation.so avoid spicy fried greasy junk food or food from outside.cap ocid d before breakfast for seven to ten days.if pain decrease it is due to gas. Or It may be angina means short supply in coronary artery. so put a isosorbid dinitrate(sorbitrate) tab under toung, can put two at a time. Pain decrease or vanish within seconds. After effect is headach,take a cup of black coffee headach relived. Low fat, low oil,ghee diet, weight redution,less exertionr are advisable. Avoid fried, SPICY, greasy,junk food. Ok.

Pain on the left side of the chest is suspected to be due to coronary heart disease whenever 1. The the pain radiates to the left side of the jaw, left shoulder or inner aspect of left arm. 2. If the pain appears on exertion and disappears on rest, and Usually the pain is associated with a great deal of sweating. 3. And finally If the pain disappears with Tab Sorbitrate 5mg administered sublingually(i.e. applied under the tongue)
Next Steps
1. Stop physical activity immediately and sit quietly when having these chest pain. 2. Avoid sudden exertions like climbing stairs in a hurry, running to catch a bus, moving furniture in house etc. 3. Reduce weight, if overweight. 4. Low fat diet. 5. If smoker, must stop smoking immediately. Most importantly, Consult with a Physician.
