Hello there. yes, it surely can cause chest pain. yes it can be hyperacidity and GERD. A certain dietary and lifestyle modifications will be required to tackle this problem. you need to drink lots of water, avoid oily and spicy foods, avoid smoking and alcohol intake, have a high protein and a low carbohydrate diet. follow a simple exercise routine daily and sleep with your head a little raised. don't sleep immediately after food and avoid tobacco intake in any form. you can take tab. Rantac-D once or twice a day atlas half an hour before food for 10 days. consult a gastroenterologist for further help. REGARDS.
