Cost of chemical peel depends on the quality and ingredient of the peel used. Some are imported and some are locally made.
Advantages - it acts a good adjuvant therapy and helps to speeden the response of the other treatment that would take. There are various peels for various indications like pimples, pigmentation , dullness, etc
Disadvantages - it is a very safe procedure if done by a qualified dermatologist . Unqualified people can induce a burn by using the wrong concentration of peel or applying it for wrong amount of time. after peeling photoprotection with sunscreen is imporant .
How its done depends on which peel is used and whether it is liquid based or gel based .
