My father is deaf and dumb. I am male and i am not having any problem. What are the chance of getting deaf and dumb to my child.

It is important to find out the reason behind your father’s deafness. We need to determine whether his deafness is due to a congenital abnormality or was it some disease that occurred after he was born. Once that is determined if it is genetic then what kind of genetic abnormality is it should be find out. After that help of a genetic counsellor can be taken to estimate the possibility of getting that abnormality in the future generations can be made. Which is again not 100% accurate this are just estimates
