Is it necessary to do endoscopy after blood test screening for celiac disease. Is there any side effect of doing endoscopy

Well u need upper GI scopy only with duodenal biopsies for diagnosis of celiac disease. There is absolutely no need of a colonoscopy. But 1st of all see a good gastroenterologist

Helloo.... Colonoscopy is done in celiac diseases.. Endoscopy is to visualize esophagus and upper part of stomach ... Blood investigation gives idea about inflammation.. Colonoscopy is confirmation test.. Consult gastroenterologist or general surgeon in nearest hospital..
