Ccf and.dilated heart
My aunt with ccf and dilated cardiomayopathy. She is using medicines since 7 months.till when she has to continue medicines like this?what food she has to take?does cardiacoutput increase? Does heart size reduce to normal?

I have already answered the question on this topic in this forum. She will require coronary angiogram and medication to reduced volume overload and pressure overload on heart. If angiogram is normal then disease is due to muscle called cardiomyopathy. Except cardiac transplant no definite cure. If angiogram is showing block she will require angioplasty or byepass depending the nature of blocks.
