Cause of pulmonary embolism
I was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism 4 days after childbirth by c section. However the day before this, I was taken to emergency because of an allergic reaction. While there a nurse rolled my surgical stockings round my ankles and it was left like that for a few hours until I complained. Is this likely to have caused the PE as opposed to the assumption that it was caused by the pregnancy?
