My 1.5 year old son was bit by a stray cat today. On the advice of a doctor, we gave him anti-rabies vaccine within 30 minutes. There was no blood, nor was cat bite deep or severe. Cats teeth got into his hand muscle. Next dose is scheduled for day 3. Does my kid boy need these anti rabies injection? Will these injections stop any chance of rabies 100%?
