My baby's umbilical cord fall off at day 8 of life. The cord stump is yellowish black and there was a little yellow discharge. What to be done ?

Umbical cord usually fall over by end of 1st week. Yellowish to reddish dischrge is commonly seen after the fall. Keep the area clean. You can use ctton swab to clean the area. You can use T-bact ointment over the stump with clean hands, or clean cotton swab.
