Cannot breathe.
I used to have asthma as a kid. I took homeopathy for it. It went away. However it was pretty bad. Inhalers and nebulisers were my everyday affair. Anyway, thanks to God, it subsided. However, after 15 years, something is wrong with me today. I can't breathe properly. I have a slight cold but I am wheezing like anything since last night. I don't want to start steroids again. What should I do? I've taken steam but it isn't helping.

Asthma usually is the tendency of your airways to react to environmental pollutants... It has genetic plus environmental factors... If you are wheezing then you need to consult a pulmonologist and may need regular inhalers to control your problem.... The goal of treatment is to have a normal life with medications and not to get rid of medications.... Treatment of asthma needs a doctor patient partnership and a lot of two way communication...for better control of the disease
