Can we give honey for cough remedy
My nephew 6 yr old and niece 5 months old are having dry cough for 5 days very mild no other complaints. Can we give honey as home remedy.

Yes you can give honey, warm water to your 6 year old nephew it’s good and soothing for the throat but not to your 5 months old baby ( HONEY SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO ANY CHILD AGED LESS THAN 1 YEAR it may cause other serious infection) make sure your 5 month old baby is feeding well, breathing normally, not lethargic or not coughing frequently with vomiting. if any of issues please get consultation asap.
