Yes it can make a person dizzy.
When you are exposed to hot sun, you will sweat which will make you lose the electrolytes from the body. Those needs to be replaced or you can feel dizzy, weak, fatigued etc.
Drink lime juice, electral, and lots of water.
Take rest when you feel like that and avoid going in sun without covering your head for long.
Always carry a water bottle with you from which you can keep sipping continuously.
Also, if possible carry a white umbrella along with you.
