I have studied so many websites indian and foreign they say 12 weeks hiv test conclusive some say 3 months and some say 6 months why lot of misconception regarding window period in this society and making the person more panic regarding window period?

Because it is in the law of nature...n not every seed sprouts in stipulated time...it may take few days to few months...same is with that virus...

Because window period can range from 3 months to even 2 years in case of HIV..
