Can a person get Rabies after 7-9 years
My first question is can a person get rabies after 7-9 years after a dog bite/scratch. I am not even sure if the dog's teeth has brushed my foot because i was on boots when dog has bitten me,but I could see two teeth holes on the shoes. post the incident I have not taken any precautions or vaccines, There are no signs of symptoms so far but I am afraid for my future. If I am not infected from rabies can I still be treated or take pre-exposure prophylaxis or post-exposure prophylaxis.

No, Usually it manifests within 1 to 3 months and rarely may manifest late by an year ... So you should not worry at all. Good luck
