C1 Vertebra Fracture
I got MRI done few days back and C1 fracture is detected. Hard Collar is suggested by doctor.
Please sugest if I should consult Neorology as well because I have pain in half head as well.
As of now I have consult only orthopedic and they have suggested Bed Rest.

Hi.... Stable fractures with no dislocation of the C1 vertebra can often be treated conservatively by means of immobilization using special cervical braces worn for 8 weeks....
C1 fractures with ligamentous avulsions, and resulting lateral dislocation of C1 in relation to C2 require or if any neurological deficits requires surgery urgently....However get Neurologist opinion once....
