Burn And Blisters - My 2.5 Year Old Son Touched A Hot Pan 3 Days

My 2.5 year old son touched a hot pan 3 days back and had developed a blister around his thumb. We didn't apply anything other than water but he just pulled away the skin sometime back and quite a lot of raw skin is exposed and its hurting him. Can we use any type of bandage + treatment please.
