From the history and the attached image, these bumps are most likely related to normal healing after circumcision, such as suture-related scar tissue or small suture granulomas. These can remain palpable for several months and often become flatter with time. Mild tenderness on touch can also occur during the healing phase. However, as they are still present after 2 months, it would be advisable to have your child examined by the operating surgeon or a pediatric surgeon/urologist to confirm that there is no retained suture or excessive scar tissue. If there is increasing pain, redness, pus discharge, fever, or rapid enlargement of the swelling, seek medical attention promptly
Next Steps
Schedule a follow-up with the operating surgeon/pediatric surgeon for examination. No intervention may be needed if these are healing scars, but an in-person assessment is recommended.
Health Tips
* Keep the area clean and dry.
* Avoid repeatedly pressing or manipulating the bumps.
* Ensure the child wears loose-fitting cotton underwear.
* Seek immediate medical care if redness, pus, fever, increasing swelling, or severe pain develops.
