My father is 64 yrs old. He had beecn diagnosed with bulge or gap in ls1 spine. He wqs advised to do an.operation.
But seeing his age he is refusing.. this was arounf 1 yr back. He is active but today the pain has started again.
What is the best treatment for him at this age.

You haven't mentioned what is the level / degree of that bulge is.
Normally grade 1 and grade 2 bulges are strictly physiotherapy Cases and it should be treated by qualified physiotherapist.Normally it consists series of electrotherapy and exercise therapy for at least 3-4 weeks.
If the bulge is grade 3-4 then it responds only partially to physiotherapy.
