Bronichle asthama
My 4years old son used to get cough and cold on recurrent basis within few days .i consuted a ped who suspected bronicle asthama and advised to give esiflo, levolin and dunose nasal drop. But after 5 month use of this medicine still he doesn't show much satisfactory result, should i continue with this or move to ayurvedic medicin.

Bronchial Asthma is a inflammatory disorder of the airways which is characterised by attacks of paroxysmal dyspnea chiefly expiratory,due to wide spread narrowing of the bronchioles by muscle spasm. On examination of chest. *Chest is held in full inspiratory position. *Accessory muscles involved in expiration. *Chest movement symmetrically dimminished. *No mediastinal displacement and other.
Next Steps
Continuous wheezing and dyspnea on exertion,cough and mucoid sputum.Recurrent attacks of respiratory infection.

Hello....... Children are prone to develop asthma I'm these days especially in cities like Bangalore.. Long term medication is required in such condition.. I think he needs inhaler which acts quickly and given dosage in micrograms.. Consult doctor go to Indra Gandhi hospital in Bangalore once before switching over to Ayurvedic medicine.
