Breath holding issue

Asked for Male, 2 Years

My child is 1.7 years old and now a days when he crying, he hold his breath and faint. Then we bounce him in air and catch then he come in normal mode. We are in fear and dont want any bad thing happen to my infant. Please guide

Hello.. Well in kids upto 5 years the breath holding spells are commonly seen..its very common in kids when they cry...need not panic for it..just try to calm your kid when ever it is irritated.u usually we don't suggest any specific treatment...try to keep a cloth dipped in water on head...thank you
