Breast carcinoma treatment
62 yrs female,post hysterectomy pt;T1N0M0 invasive ductal carcinoma (mucinous) triple positive receptor status.underwent MRM and chemotherapy and transtuzumab. Now prescribed letrozole 2.5mg. .shall it be continued for 5 yrs??

Yes she should take it for at least 5yrs. Do bone mineral density study prior to starting. Also to give calcium, vitamin d3 and osteofos tablet along with it to avoid osteoporosis and fracture
