Hi, can for radiotherapy depending upon the staging of the disease. Chemotherapy may be given before surgery to shrink a large tumor and make surgery easier, called neoadjuvant chemotherapy. It may also be given after surgery to reduce the risk of recurrence, called adjuvant chemotherapy. Chemotherapy may also be given if a patient has a metastatic breast cancer recurrence.
