Brain TB at age of 75yrs
My grandmother 75 yrs old has brain TB and she is unable to do any physical activity except taking breath. She is hospitalized. Is this curable and she will b recovered and do all the physical activities by own. I just want to see her well soon. She is in ICU so her lungs will not b effected. How many days treatment will take to recognize recovery?

Brain TB in elderly is not good. It takes longer time for recovery and the recovery may not be complete. It all depends on whether the TB bacteria respond to medicines or not and how well the body fights back. The body's natural ability to fight is not good in the elderly.
