Bone marrow edema involving ankle joint
Operated for varicose veins a year back, last 4 to 5 months having edema, tenderness over inner side of Rt ankle. Had 2 courses of antibiotics/antiinflammatories one was for 3-4 weeks long. MRI revealed the bone marrow edema involving talus, navicular and medial malleolus with periarticular subcutaneous edema s/o infective / inflammatory​ etiology.

Since is suggestive of infective u need to take antibiotics And once the inflammatory components go physiotherapy wil help
