Body pain , constipation

Asked for Male, 59 Years

My father is 59 years old , he has been suffering from constipation and gas problem for last 15-20days. For last 24 hours he has been feeling tiredness muscular pain and weakness. He has harrassed voice and body temperature between 97-99 and today found blood with toilet two times. Note- He never had problems related to digestion and stomach. because he regularly drinks water and eats timely and maintain proper diet. kindly suggest me some tests and medicines.

Elderly gentleman with recent constipation and blood in stools needs COLONOSCOPY . Donot give medicines blindly. Get a blood test ( CBC) to know the loss. Check for blood thinners and pain killer tablets ( as these may cause GI BLEED in elderly)
