Body didn't accept post cyst sutures
Hi, got 2 sebaceous cyst removed on my back through an operation. Out of the 2 one was a bit infected and the body did not accept the sutures done on that location. The other one has healed well. The Dr. has removed the sutures and have mentioned it will heal by secondary healing. I am a bit worried as the area seems like a hole. I am getting my dressing done every 2 days and do not have much pain throughout the day. A bit of pain only while dressing. How long does open wounds like these take to heal? Should I take a 2nd opinion?

No need to worry. Give it a couple of weeks time and it will settle down.
