There isn't sufficient information to reach a specific diagnosis. It is likely that you may have had a trauma over the hand a few days ago and the blue ball that you're suggesting is a contusion, in which case you can apply ice over the region which will reduce the pain and control the swelling. Kindly visit the ER and get physically evaluated so that it could be diagnosed properly and take treatment accordingly.
