Your reports are suggestive that your cholesterol levels are elevated, liver enzymes are elevated, Vitamin B12 is deficient and BMI is obese. You will require lifestyle changes to control your cholesterol levels and liver enzyme levels. You will require vitamin B rich food such as liver, legumes, dried beans and fresh orange juice. Also, fortified bread, cereals and rice is loaded with folate. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin): Natural sources of vitamin B12 are found in fish, red meat, eggs, poultry, milk, milk products and cheese. Soy products and cereals also have high vitamin B12 content. The following lifestyle changes will be required: - Exercise regularly(Preferably High Intensity Interval Training which would be an effective cardio work out) - Reduce weight and maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI - Avoid sugar treats, fatty food, oily/ deep fried food items. - Have food items such as fish(rich in omega 3 fatty acids such as salmon), flax seeds, garlic, foods rich in soluble fiber. - Eliminate trans fats from your diet - Limit your consumption of foods high in saturated fats. For example, substitute olive oil for butter - Avoid/Limit alcohol and smoking if you have the habit You must repeat your cholesterol levels after a month of lifestyle changes and if there isn't a sufficient reduce in cholesterol levels and liver function levels, you will require medications.
