Blood pressure

I have been diagnosed by anxiety disorder since Pandemic. My age is 32 and I don't have family history of blood pressure. But due to anxiety My BP was 140/90 and 130/80. But doctor asked to take the medicine and it's almost 1yr and now my BP was 110/70 & 120/80. Taking Revelol 25. Is it mandatory to take bp tablets life long?? Please advise. Reduced my weight around 15 kgs.

Depends upon your stage of hypertension. If you have a significant hypertension with end organ damage then you need medicines for lifelong. But in your case I am not sure whether you are hypertensive or not
