Blood Pressure and Uric Acid
Will Telmisartan or Cilnidipine increase Uric Acid in blood.
I am taking both medicines for hypertension and always the Serum Uric Acid level is above 7.5 ( reached upto 9 ) ( even after restricting purine rich food). This is being checked due to pain in Ankles and other small joints.
Kindly suggest.

No both drugs won't raise uric acid level, rather than change telmisartan to Losartan which will help in decreasing uric acid levels
