Blood loss anemia
My wife seems to be having an internal blood loss. Her Hemoglobin and iron Iron levels were very low (5.5 & 7) and also has black stool. Nothing has come up thru Endoscopy, CT Scan and Colonoscopy. Biopsy after Endoscopy and Colonoscopy (Polyps) were also clean. Her Hemoglobin and Iron level increases (10 & 30) when she takes Iron tablet (Bizfer XT) but comes down when she stops taking Iron. Doctors are not able to locate the source of bleeding. Can you please help with possible reasons?

She may require a RADIO LABELLED TECNITIUM 99 RBC  SCAN TO LOCATE THE SOURCE. NEXT APPROACH WOULD BE TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC LAPAROSCOPY AND INTRA- OPERATIVE ENTEROSCOPY
