Blood in urine
My 80 year dad old has pinkish urine began yesterday Tuesday morning urine was dark and when seen in urinal bag was dark and reddis appearance , he had some discharge of mucus on and off days before . and also today this morning the urine is a little darker the urine appears pink like grapefruits but a littl yellowish going over the reds pinks ect. he as an Appointmen to see a Dr. tomorrow afternoon ! but I am not sure if he can wait perhaps 911 ? , or could he wait until tomorrow ? he does not have other symptoms some pain he said in his penis temp was ok for now , he has had some minor temp fluctuations over several months 99 ect but then went down . BP is normal , had a UTI some months ago last year , he used only diapers back then now using condom catheters for night use only due to the problems his urination causes like skin related problems diapers do not work for him , so I got some condom catheters from Amazon and ebay for him to use at night only .daytime he uses diapers

Hi, why does your father have to use diapers or condom cath. Has he been operated previously? Is he on treatment for prostate issues? Any blood in urine is not normal. It has to be evaluated. Consult a Urologist for this. Few blood tests and urine tests and a sonography will help. Further treatment depends on these reports.
