M 31 yr old working woman I wanna ask abt causes of blood in stool.. 7 days ago when i went washroom there was blood in my stool the blood came painless blood was bright red in color on surface of the poop...It was bleed only Few seconds till then it didn't happen again..M worried it can due to colon cancer pls guide me

Blood in stools could be due to many reasons like diverticulitis, haemorrhoids, fissure in ano,, vascular lesions or ectasias. Clinical history is required to plan further evaluation and management
