Iam madhavi 48 yrs old.im facing bleeding in uterus from 1 weak when i go for chekup in ultra scaning it came as bulky uterus with thickened endometrium.and they sent me to papsmear test what does it exactly means can u please tell me

At your age with a thickened endometrium you will require a dilatation and curettage followed by histopathology of attained sample. And further treatment based on that.pap smear is a cytology of cervix(uterine mouth) to rule out any cervical pathology which might be the reason for bleeding
