Bleeding!!
I had protected sex on 13th May, with boyfriend. Just to be on the safer side, I took 3mg contraceptives on 17th May. And yesterday, I saw some blood in my pee stream. I thought it was my period. But today morning, there's no blood patch. Is it normal? I even did a pregnancy test yesterday morning which was negative. When can I expect my next period to come? Please guide me with details, Because I really cannot consult a gynaecologist..

Hello dear...you cannot contraceptives when ever you feel you are going to get pregnant. It is very unsafe as they contain high dose hormones, which can be harmful. Since it is only one week since the last sexual exposure, urine pregnancy test can be negative. It usually becomes positive after 1 week. But since there has been abnormal bleeding, it is always safe to consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation. They will also tell you when to repeat the urine pregnancy test. Never feel afraid to visit a doctor when you are ill. We are always there to help you.
