Black spots in phlegm
I am being treated for sinusitis and I noticed that I have a few black spots in the phlegm particularly in the morning. I have slight wheezing and some difficulty in breathing when I climb stairs. No fever. I must say that the sinusitis is in control after taking flixonase spray and montelukast tablets. Do I need to seek an opinion from a specialist for this?

Hi. I understand your concerns. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of bronchitis based on which treatemnt can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.
