Babies who have birth asphyxia need development monitoring until 2 years of age. Did your baby have seizures ? If so any MRI Brain done ? If baby had no seizures and as baby is taking feeds by 7 days of age, the outcomes is going to be reasonably well. But we can not predict the outcome so early, particularly if baby had any seizures.
Next Steps
Developmental follow up with Paediatrician.
