Biotin 10 mg
A nutritionist recommended me biotin 10 mg/day for a month, for my hair issues. I have been taking them. Now I want to continue them for 3 more months(10mg/day). Would it be okay to do so? If yes, after three more months of 10 mg biotin/day would it be okay to give two months break and then restart it and take for 4 months(10mg/day) and then again two months break then again for 4 months(10mg/day) and so on? P.S. : I haven't seen any side effects of taking biotin.

Hair fall has a wide variety of etiology, I would recommend you to send your scalp pictures (front, back, and sides) for better evaluation. Further more biotin is good, but not always good enough . Alopecia should be treated according to the cause, just supplements may not work well.
