My teeth are slightly on the bigger side, and it makes me conscious. There is slight alignment problem as well. What is the treatment for such cases? Do I need braces? Approx cost for the procedure?

It depends upon severity of your original problem. .Definitely it will improve after good alignment.

Orthodontic treatment is definitely possible for your age also, although the duration of treatment will be slightly longer due to increased density of bone.... the cost of the treatment will also vary from dentist to dentist depending upon the location, experience and the treatment modality used..... the cheapest option will be going for metal braces and latest treatments like clear aligners will be a slightly costlier option with many advantages.... There is no temporary solution that a doctor can recommend to you and why would you even try to go for that. The permanent solution can be in the form of orthodontics therapy whether using braces or clear aligners and the duration of this treatment will be somewhere around 1 and after 2 years. Other solutions which can improve your smile in a shorter duration can be laminates or metal free Zirconia crowns but the applicability of each treatment modality can be judged only after a proper clinical evaluation of the case.
