Beedi amd cigarette consumption
Hello, One of my relatives smokes beedi regularly. I asked him to substitute it with cigarettes as it looked lesser harmful due to the filter. But he isn't able to do so completely and ends up smoking 12 beediis and about 3 cigarettes daily. Initially he used to smoke about 12 to 15 beedis. To his point, he would need about 20 cigarettes to substitute beedi completely. My question is...is it more harmful to smoke both simultaneously as he may end up consuming more chemicals where some might be harmful? Have I inadvertently ended up increasing the consumption as when it comes to addictive items it's at times difficult to replace? Thanks in advance

Beedi, ciggerrate, pan masala, tobacco, betulnut all of them are harmful. We cannot divide them in less harmful or more harmful. If he really want to quit smoking and not able to he shd consult for deaddiction. Replacement is not an option
