Bed sore at back right side
My father has a bed sore on tight side buttock region , open wound area around 2 cm . Black area all around open wound covering around an area of a palm. Blackish skin , and hard also ...when applying pressure from sides yellow Lisa comes out. Need advise regarding doctor who will be best to consult and can do proper risk assesment about the severity of the pressure sore .
Please advise as soon as possible .
At present we at a interval of 12 hours , clean whole are from betadene solution and than apply megaheal cream in the area . And also keeping the wound covered just be guage ...after putting cream ...please advise soon

u r doing almost appropriate treatment from ur side, along with it air matress and frequent change in posture will help.
in severe cases we had to go for debridement of the margins and then fresh margins healing if good.
kindly consult with the picture of the area to asses is it healing or detorating, amount of are involved and exact site comorbid conditions these all affects the heling of the area.
