Beau line tranvesre ridge
My wife was having high ESR few months back...around 100 during a normal health check up...then she had sore throat followed by which doctor suggested her to go for urine analysis, urine culture, hb1ac, crp, and ige ...all of them came normal...few day back I noticed a transverse ridge on her finger nails. Which when I searched online came as BEAU LINE...KINDLY let me know what can be done for this...

Hi. Greetings. This usually occurs during a stage of relative stress for the body. Don't worry it goes away as the nail grows until it's completely shed. In case it recurs, see a qualified dermatologist near you. Or send in pics of the same for confirmation of diagnosis. Warm regards Dr Govind Suresh Mittal.
