Hi, I had bartholin gland abscess two years back and have ruptured by itself after a severe pain. Now it's recurred. On doctor's prescription, I'm taking Lyser D and augmentin 625. Even after three days of medicine, the lump is still there and may be growing. Will it break by itself or will it get suppressed because of these medicines. Please comment. Thanks a lot

Bartholin cyst that too infected.....one and only treatment is surgical excision of the cyst completely with marsupialization ( that means keeping the inner surface of the cyst open during surgery, which allows cyst collection to
drain and prevents recurrence)

Hi, Bartholin once get infected, it is to be removed in total. Any part of it if remains in body, gets infected on and off. So advising to get it removed surgically.
