Balancing issue
Hellow Docter, My mother age 57 High BP patient and have just started Thiroid Medecine after fighting with corona (home isolation not hopitalised) she says when she walk sometime she feel she is not able to manager her balance feel like she would fall to the ground..kindly suggest this is happening due to covid ? High BP ? Thiroid or due to weekness

Kindly share a more elaborate history like: 1. Does she had dizziness even at rest also 2. Does she had dizziness even changing posture in bed 3. Does it constant through out the day 4. Due to weakness post covid dizziness can be a cause 5. Are u monitoring the bp may be her medication are not appropriate causing hypotension. Common causes are BPPV can be easily controlled with lifestyle modification and supplements by medication

It cannot be said it is hundred percent due to covid..mostly weakness remains for 1 month or two.. But rule out any brain related cause
