You need to visit pediatrician, to rule out underlying cause of fever. Meanwhile keep temp record and give fever medicine.

Teething can raise your baby's body temperature, but only slightly. Any fever over 100.4 F is a sign that your child is probably sick. The signs of teething are drools a lot, is extra fussy or cranky, cries more than usual, chews on teething rings or other firm objects. I would advise you to visit the pediatrician so that she can be evaluated and undergo investigations such as CBC, etc to find the underlying cause of the fever and have it treated accordingly. She will require antibiotics and antipyretics. The following steps may help: - Do tepid sponging when the fever is increased. - Keep the baby well hydrated as dehydration can cause fever in babies - Keep the baby nice and warm If the condition is persistent or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.
