Baby behavior
Hello doctor,
My baby is 5 weeks old he is totally depending my feeding..for every 1 hour approximately I have to feed him otherwise he will cry...is it normal ...?and I have sufficient milk and also he is either sleep or hungry or he will cry...I dont understand what my baby is expecting from me..throughout the day for 10 mins also he wont calm or play...plz doctor plz help me...motion he will go 2 to 3 times a day...plz doctor plz help.

A newborn baby will sleep for 20-22 hours a day. Only after your baby turns 6 months will he develop sleep wake cycle. For his age, all that he will do is sleep, feed, poop and pee.
You should breastfeed him for minimum 20mins so that he doesn't feel hunger for atleast 2 hours. Baby will sleep well only when his tummy is full and burping has been done.
Every mother goes through these phases.
Remember that your baby is growing and it's a matter of few months then he will not depend on your feeding like he is now. Stay calm.
