Suggestion from Ayurvedic doctors: is it possible to avoid allopathic medicines and take Ayurvedic? This is after bypass surgery & stent in heart.

Yes, you can any time Ayurvedic treatment Before or After surgery of heart, But by consulting Ayurvedic physician.

Please give duration after surgery. Upto an extent, it is possible, post 2 years of surgery. I would not advice you to stop all medicines, but if you are taking Atorvastatin or any similar drug and still if you have elevated LDL, VLDL levels you can opt for Ayurvedic medicines under strict medical supervision.

Please continue allopathic medicine. After every surgery you need to take allopathic medicines till you recover completely and for heart is very essential. you can opt for yogic practices to relax yourself and improve stamina that too after advice of your cardiologist. take care dr savita

No. If you are undergone bypass its better you take allopathic medications. You can practice simple breathing exercises to improve circulation to heart muscles and body.
