Autoimmune Thyroid meds
I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism 1.5 months ago. My TSH level at that time was 9.7. I was suggested thyronorm 75 Daily. Now the TSH level has dropped to 0.01, below the normal levels. Should I stop the tablet or take lower dose of the med. Please advise

Please repeat the TSH after 12 hours fasting, at an NABL accredited Laboratory ( NOT THYROCARE- they are notoriously unreliable). If the report is consistent, show it to your doctor to get dose reduced. TSH should only be checked once in 3 months at same Lab and after 12 hours fasting and reports shown to your regular doctor who diagnosed your condition.
